Vista and Servers
I'm experimenting with Windows Server 2008 and all it's bells and whistles.

I am able to use Wake-on LAN to switch the server on from another PC running
Vista on the network (simple workgroup, not a domain), but what I'd like to
be able to also do is have the server scan for clients on the network, and
if one isn't found for a while (say 5 or 10 minutes), then the server just
shuts down.

Is there anything that can do this?

Not to worry. I've decided to try my hand at slapping something together in
VB2008.
