There use to be PCAnywhere for DOS.

According to the notes @

ftp://69.22.137.48/public/english_us_canada/products/pcanywhere/dos/technic
al_notes/pcadpr.txt

"Make connections across NetWare IPX, NetBIOS and Banyan networks;
dial in/out through Gateways and the following devices: Telebit
ACS, NASI/NCSI and INT 14"

So if you installed the NetBEUI protocol in Windows XP and had PCAnywhere
for DOS on the DOS machine and the Windows version on the XP machine, you
_should_ be able to do this.

Good luck. :)
