VISTA upgrading from Home Premium to Ultimate
Any know of or have a 'hack' that will permit a forced 'Upgrade' option on
the Windows Vista Ultimate RETAIL upgrade DVD.

I have a client with a new Dell XPS M1330. It came with Home Premium by
mistake. Dell suggests returning the laptop to rectify because the 'Clean
(Install) Option' indicates a new installation and new directory. Microsoft
will support the RETAIL purchase, but it will likely be a Clean Install
method, which doesn't help the situation.

Is there a Registry Key to create/modify OR another 'setup' file to edit
that might allow an Upgrade to load over Dell's OEM Vista Home Prem. image?

Anyone?
