I recently restored my wndows XP operating system and when I am attempting to open my word docs or excel and I receive the message "The patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor that is a vaild Windows Installer patch package." What is wrong? What is the fix? -- David G.
