How the F to I turn off non-Accessibility Features
Is anybody out there? Does an answer to my question exist? I've been
waiting weeks and have not found or recieved an answer, and the phone lines
just keep telling me to email some moron at vpesc(at)microcrap.com. But
apparently that moron hasn't been taught how to use the 'reply' button, or
like the customer service techs, he can't find his butt with both hands. So
I hope that someone out there can at least give me an educated, or
non-educated, guess for an answer.
I used the Win XP Accesibility Wizard to make it more user friendly for me,
a disabled person. I used the High Contrast option so I could more easiliy
see the screen. Now everything is white, there are buttons and pics/graphics
missing on the screen of any Window (IE, Word, Excel, etc. (Office 2007,
sucks too)). I've tried to turn off the feature, but there is no way to
revert. I've tried using the Windows (Desktop) Properties option and my
nVidia Monitor/Screen Properties to change the background color to anything
but white; and the change options are there they just don't work.
The customer dis-service line does nothing but tell me that Dell is suppose
to have the answer because I bought a Dell, but they don't have a clue. So
they then expect me to pay $59+ to get an answer. Well being disabled single
parent with two kids in college doesn't afford me the ability spare $59+/hour
to have somebody spend 24 hours guessing about how to fix it.
So I turn to you for an answer. Is there a fix, or do I find a way to buy a
Mac? This really makes me dream of the days of DOS and how easy was to do
anything on a computer before Microsoft soiled the PC operating system.
