Server set up - hardware configuration test & RAID5
I have an HP ML 310 server with 4 X 72 GB RAID5 disks (hardware RAID). It
will be used as a SQL server for two off-the-shelf databases (for the time
being) and the disks will be mirrored. I haven't set up a server before and
have done some reading but I would like to ask you experienced boys and girls
the following questions:

1. How do I run a hardware diagnostic test and record/print the result
before installing the OS?
2. What is the best partitioning scenario?
3. I've read that OS (Windows 2003) can't be installed on a RAID disk but
this is harware RAID. How do I implement the mirroring on disks?

Thank you in advance for your time.
