Menu Conventions Resource
I'm looking for a resource to quote a technical writer (in support of
a change I am advising) for the arrow menu convention (e.g. File-
>Open). I was able to find a referenced to an MS Press book
(Microsoft® Manual of Style for Technical Publications, Third
Edition , [1]), but am not familiar with the book itself. I learned a
lot of the MS conventions nearly 10 years ago myself so I am familiar
with them, but would like a solid resource to quote for backup in
recommending this change.

Any help, tips, etc. appreciated.

Ben

P.S. I did try to find the best group to publish this on. The 'Help'
related groups seemed to be focused more on programming for HtmlHelp/
etc. than actually authoring the information. Any recommendations on
where to post to get the best advise would also be greatly
appreciated.
