When I run dcpromo on a windows 2008 server in a 2003 domain after choosing existing forest I get the message" you must first prepare the forest using adprep /forestPrep" I did and checked it the registry and the key is 41. I did have the first 2008 server which was a GC on a VM crash and I removed from the metadata. Now I cannot promote 2 2008 servers running on VM to the 2003 domain. Does anyone have an ideas
