Removal of products?
I have just noticed that for some reason System Center Data Protection
Manager 2007 has been removed from the MSDN download.
I have engaged in an e-mail conversation with the MSDN support center about
this and have been informed in the following e-mail about this.

Subject: MSDN / Ref: C9000174085/ - Issue with Missing Products (MSDN
Premium)

Good morning Mike,
Thank you for your email.
We have access to the same type of subscription as you and, like you, the
recovery tool is the only download we are able to find. If a download is not
available in the Downloads section, then it has been removed.
As it is, we have no influence on what software is included in the MSDN
subscriptions. We also normally do not receive any information when products
are either removed or added to the downloads. Therefore we cannot say why
this product has been removed.
What we can, and will do, is to track an official complaint regarding this
issue.
What software gets added to the Subscriber Downloads is best followed
through the blogs and forums relating to the products.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.
Kind Regards,
Johan

MSDN Information Centre
-----------------------------------

I can't say I am happy about this as the product was there in November last
year and has just gone without a reason.
The bigger issue is that it is clearly listed as being included in my
subscription on the "Compare Editions" page on the MSDN site.

Not a good state of affairs.
