Hi There When I try to attach a video clip in my yahoo mail account, I get the message " windows host process (rundll32) a website wants to open web content using this program on your computer. When I click allow it just pops back up again, even when I click not allow it pops up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to rectify this in Lehman's terms as I am not a PC tech guy. Thanks Adrian (London)
I have a similar problem with Internet Explorer. I receive a message"A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer This program will open outside of Protected Mode. Internet explorerâs protected mode helps protect your computer. If you do not trust this website, do not open this program. Name : Adobe Flash player Publisher Adobe Systems Incorporated Details: â¦Windows\System32\Macromedia\Flash\Flashutil9e.exe" I have searched google and Microsoft support. It is quite obvious that it is an issue but, apart from replies that offer the sale of registry scanning software, (any of which could be risky) I have found no resolution. My solution will be a cold re-boot on the assumption that the security alert is caused by spyware that has slipped under Nortons rather shoddy net. -- Peter Connell "Adrian C" wrote: > Hi There > > When I try to attach a video clip in my yahoo mail account, I get the > message " windows host process (rundll32) a website wants to open web content > using this program on your computer. I found this answer on Yahoo answers from JACKREX. "This is a bug in IE . (Internet Explorer) Get Mozilla Firefox from http:\\www.mozilla.org\.This will solve your problem." I already have Mozilla Firefox and the websites to which I was trying to upload images and videos - Geograph and Facebook - now work fine without the warning coming up. So this solution works for me.
