Yes you do. Follow the links to managed newsgroups on the MSDN site and get yourself a posting name. If you use it to post in the managed groups you are guaranteed a response within 48 hours. thanks - that's cool :-) just to confirm - once i have registered my email alias (i.e. in this case ajfish@blueyonder.co.uk) can I use whatever mechanism I like to actually post to the group (e.g. google groups or my existing NNTP server) or does it only work if i submit through MSDN? It should work if you use your newsreader as well. Keep in mind, you must have an MSDN subscription that has the managed newsgroups.
