D drive
my d drive has only 10% free space. there doesn't seem to be anything in it.
Sometimes, it states the space is almost full & it says to delete files, but
there is never much , if anything at all in it. What is this all about?

Thanks for any help!

Why ask in this newsgroup? You have bot software on your computer and are
probably hosting child porn and spam bots. Get professional help and stay
away from the big box stores.

Re: D drive
Hi,

There are a few possible reasons:

1. There are hidden volume shadow copies on there
2. There's a big recycle bin on there
3. The NTFS master table is corrupt

You could first try opening a command prompt, then type

dir d:\*.* /a /s

This will list every file on the D drive. At the end of list you'll see
a report of how many files, folders and bytes are being used.
