Hi I was wondering if someone could help me. I can't play my WMV file with neither flip 4 mac or Windows media player 9. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. I'm a Mac OS X version 10.4.11 user.

WMV is a container format and many different codecs can be used to generate the content. Some of these codecs are not supported on MacOS X (eg: ACELP). DRM-protected files cannot be read either. I am having the same problem. I have spoken to the tech at the website I am trying to play from and he says other Mac users are able to play from their archive, so I must have some configuration problem. Any ideas for what to try?

Flip4Mac released yesterday a new (beta but working fine here) version of their WMV codecs.
