I have Mac OS X version 10.5.4 (Leopard) and have been trying to download Windows Media Player so that I can listen to some radio stations live on my internet. But every time I try, it downloads but it says I need to choose an application to open it with. Everything I try to use, doesn't work. Any suggestions?

MS now recommends to use the Flip4Mac QuickTime codecs instead (free and also available on the MS website actually). The WMP installer you have downloaded can be decompressed using Stuffit Expander, but again, I would recommend against using it. Ok, I did that, and it is actually what I downloaded before. It doesn't work though. Here is a picture of what comes up: /Users/taravance/Desktop/Picture 1.png Sorry, for being a pain, but any other ideas or suggestions?
