windows media player 11   
hi folks, im new to this so please bare with me! on my windows media player 
11 i have no volume when playing DVDs? volume works on cd/film clips etc just 
not on DVDs, why is this,what can i do??? im running XP,cheers in advance for 
any answers

You're in the wrong newsgroup... This is the newsgroup for the Mac
version of WMP.
You should probably repost in the regular WMP newsgroup to find a better
answer :-\

This is a Mac media player group, though admittedly you could run XP
on a Mac if you wanted, it's not the right place to be ;-)

You're probably missing an AC3 audio (dvd audio) decoder such as this
one http://ac3filter.net/project/1/releases which you'd need to
install
