WMP11 windowsxp-x64..Video Codecs   

Hi,

With the x64 version of windows media player 11 it has files in both 
Syswow64 and System32 and is listed under programs files x86. I am assuming 
that it is actually 32bit WMP optimised or tweaked in some way for x64  
....therefore I should install 32bit video codecs. Is this correct?  

If posssible can anybody recommend DVD player software that runs well on XP 
x64.

You're in the wrong newsgroup then. This is the newsgroup for the Mac
version of WMP.
You should probably repost in the regular WMP newsgroup to find a better
answer :-\

Thanks for letting me know, I choose Media Player Discussions under "select a 
discussion group" not quite sure how it posted here.

I hate this user interface. I always post using a newsgroup client
application (the web-pages are jsut a front end to access the
newsgroups).
