I know there is Flip4Mac where you can view a .wmv file as a Quicktime file, but is there a way you could convert a .wmv to become a Quicktime.mov file? I ask because I'm having trouble importing .wmv files to my Avid Media Composer editing system. I can import the video, the video quality is great, but there is no audio. I have no trouble importing Quicktime.mov files to Avid.

Using FLip4Mac WMV... Actually you need the paid version fo their codecs. Once you have entered your serial number, you can transcode files in any format. I suspect you'll need the Pro version of QuickTime too. I found out that it works quite well exporting to .mov, but I've had some issues transcoding in DivX for instance. The WMV codec was cropping my videos in a weird way. The codecs might let you export in demo mode to give it a try though...
