Re: it refuses to burn ANYTHING. please help!
Do any of the tracks show up with a red [x] next to them once it's
complained about being unable to read the file ?
It's possible the file was added to the library (so WMP thinks it
knows where it is) then moved somewhere else that it's not able to
keep track of it - for example moving the file from C:\Documents and
Settings\My Music to C:\Audio Tacks
Are you sure the file is a type which media player can play ? What
happens if you find it in the library and try to play it first ?

Re: it refuses to burn ANYTHING. please help!
when it tries to burn and decides it cant nothing changes on the screen the
only X on the player says "clear list pane" when i hover my mouse over it.
are the original files supposed to be in my music folder? they arent, they
are in some folder in my documents. the songs play through the windows media
player. i find it in the library, click it and it plays just fine. if it
helps they are "mp3 format sound" type files. i am so confused. thank you
for responding.
