Outlook 2001 crashes with Type 1 error
I have a user using Outlook 2001 on OS 9.2.2 . About mid-day last Friday they
would launch Outlook 2001 and it would crash immdiately after the user logged
in. We have uninistalled/reinstalled, trashed interenet preferences, ran disk
utilities but nothing seems to help. The user is using the very latest
version of IE 5 for classic OS.

Any suggestions?

Have you also trashed the Exchange preferences found in System Folder
--> Preferences?

Re: Outlook 2001 crashes with Type 1 error
The same behavior occurred on another machine when I set him up as a user on
Outlook 2001 but did not occur when I looked at his mail in Entourage 2004.
It was definitely something in his mail file. Our mail administrator turned
his unread mail to read or vice versa, I can't remember which but it fixed the
problem.
