I realize that this question might seem somewhat naive... I have been on the phone with numerous tech support people regarding issues with setting up entourage to a microsoft exchange server and no one has ever mentioned that Outlook for Mac exists, and (or) is easier to use. Is this the case? If so, is it exactly like the one for a PC? Thanks... sorry for "wordy" question. MJ

It can be run in Classic mode under Mac OS X if necessary, but it is a pain to configure if your Mac won't natively boot into Mac OS 9. And, no, it's not completely like Outlook for Windows and is missing many of the more advanced features. Also, Microsoft's support policy for software if for five years. Outlook 2001 will no longer be supported as of sometime this year. You'd be better off using Entourage or another email client that is compatible with the mail protocols (POP/SMTP, IMAP or Exchange/WebDAV) that your Exchange server is using.
