I deleted in my Mac Keychain list what I thought was an old email exchange password that was labeled Exchange. But apparently is was something else linked to the Entourage account setup. Now I can no longer save my password in the Entourage Account Setting... I type in the password and the box to save to Keychain automatically is automatically, then I click ok to the settings... But when I reopen the account settings, the password info is blank again and the Keychain box unchecked. Can anyone explain what is happening and how I can restore the missing Keychain info to work correctly in tandem with the Entourage setup?

Hi Max! Your keychain may be damaged. Quit Entourage and the launch the Keychain Access utility found in /Applications/Utilities. Run Keychain First Aid from the Keychain Access menu and see if if repairs anything. When you launch Entourage, you may need to enter your password one more time. See if it sticks. FYI, this newsgroup has been deprecated and replaced with microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage. Be sure to post any further questions in that group rather than this one.
