Hi Everyone, Running Ent 2K8 against Exchange 2k3. Same mailbox has a 11.4 GB database on Entourage vs 5.5 GB on Outlook. Is this expected behaviour? Is there a way to optimize the DB in Ent? Would rebuild be an option? Thanks.

Databases by nature grow dynamically as data is added by they do not shrink dynamically as data is deleted. Instead of the rebuild option use Compact. Hold the Option key down as you launch Entourage. This will open the Database Utility. You can select the Compact option here. FYI, this newsgroup has been deprecated and replaced with microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage. Be sure to post any further questions in that group rather than this one.
