Public Calendar Event invites, Ent2008
We have Exchange 2003 SP3
PC clients using office 2003
MAC clients running entourage 2008

We use a public calendar to schedule meetings between multiple
people. For our Outlook users, they can create an event on the public
calendar, select attendees, and send it. The event goes to everyones
private calendar if they accept the invitation. The event is
automaticly added to the creator's private calendar if he added
himself as an attendee.

In Entourage:
If someone schedules an appointment on the public calendar and invites
himself to the event in addition to other people, he will get an
invite notice, but the notice will not have the accept or deny
options. The other people who were invited by him to the same meeting
can accept the meeting just fine. At which point the event will go to
their private calendars.

In other words the creator of a public calendar event cannot have it
transfer to his/her
private calendar without re-creating the event manually.

Thank you,
Steven
