I want to write a macro to change the drawer the printer prints from, print pages 1 and 2 of the document double sided and print pages 3 to 5 of the document single sided. I tried just recording what I normally do manually, i.e. File/Page Setup/Paper/Choose the Tray/OK then File/Print/Choose Pages 1 & 2/Properties/Click on the box for double sided/OK/OK, then the same thing for pages 3 to 5, but this didn't work. So I then recorded one macro to change the tray and another macro to print pages 1 and 2 double sided, and yet another macro to print pages 3 and 5 single sided. It sounds long winded but even clicking three buttons on the toolbar is quicker than doing the whole lot manually. This works but it changes the formatting of the document. Not being really familiar with macros apart from actually recording the keyboard strokes, I am not sure why the macro would change the formatting of the document when I haven't touched the formatting when recording (or even when not recording - the document is a pro forma precedent and I just fill in the blanks). Ideally I would like one macro to do the whole lot but even if someone could help me to stop the formatting changing with my three macros, that would be a great help. I look forward to some assistance with this. Many thanks in anticipation.
