Office 2008: Excel Cell with drop-downs not loading   

Just upgraded to Office 2008.

When I try to use an Excel Spreadsheet with a cell that has dropdown 
items in it, it scrolls A thru F but will not go down further.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Mac OS X 10.4.11
Current O2008 version, no updates.

Not a preference related issue.
