Word Documents
Recently, several of my word documents have a little blank square at the end
of the line of text, almost like an old fashioned cursor, or place marker.
It can't be deleted, and doesn't go away. When I type, it moves with the
text and seems to act like and end of text marker. It will print with the
document, though. Has any one else experienced this?

Re: Word Documents
Hi Joanne:

No, I have not seen that.

Sadly, you have not told me enough to be able to answer your question.

We cannot answer this question until after you provide details of your
hardware and software.

As a minimum, we need to know which Operating system you are using, and its
version and patch-level, and which version of Word you are using, and its
patch level.

For example:

"I have an Apple iBook PPC with a 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB of memory,
running Mac OS 10.3.9 and Office 2004 version 11.3.3".

Cheers

Re: Word Documents
Hi John,

Sorry, I am on an HP/Compaq nc6320, 512mg ram, 1g processor, running windows
XP, SP2, Office 2003. This only seemed to happen after I went from SP1 to
SP2, if I remember correctly ....

Re: Word Documents
Hi Joanne:

Nope: Still not ringing any bells for me. There should be a "Pilcrow" (a
paragraph mark) which is indeed the end-of-text marker. One of these ""

But that won't print.

So I think you better flip me a small sample, and I'll take a look.

Cheers
