I am using Microsoft Messenger for Mac 6.0.3. I have a lot of people on my list that I want to delete but I am unable to delete any of them. I can use the delete key or ctrl- click and then delete, but this message comes up every time: "The server was unable to remove the user '...' from your contact list. Please try again". I am able to delete the contacts when using messenger on my windows machine, but the list does not update on my Mac. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I'm having the same problem. Problem is Microsoft is useless, (you know this too as you are using a mac.) The other annoying thing msn does is log the user out all the time. Personally, I suggest using Adium. With Adium you can log into msn, yahoo, AOL etc. Plus, the contacts you spend ages trying to delete, are deleted in Adium.
