need help with monitor resolution problem
I inadvertently changed my monitor resolution to the highest resolution which
my monitor does not support. The monitor is fine during boot up but once the
OS starts the screen goes blank and displays a message that the monitor is
working but the resolution is set too high and that I need to lower the PC
resolution setting. How can I change the setting back in XP if the monitor
doesn't support the resolution once XP starts? Is there a way to change the
resolution during boot up prior to the screen going blank when the OS (XP)
starts? Need help, thanks.

You do know you posted in a Mac group?
Tap the F8 key right before the XP splash screen comes up, select VGA Mode.
