File Share Server 2003 for Mac
Hi everyone,
i have windows 2003 server installed, and for some reason my Mac can't
access the share folders, so i search in google and i found than i need to
modify the registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanManServer\Parameters
The value of RequireSecuritySignature needs to be changed from '1' to '0'.

It works but the problem is that it keeps changing back during the day to
the default value.
how can i fix this problem?

Thanks

How are you connecting? AFP or SMB? I'm guessing SMB from your description.

I'm not familiar with this key but it sounds like you're essentially
setting the "Microsoft client: Digitally sign communications (always)"
policy setting. Look for this in either your server's or domain's
security policy settings and set it there.

However, I'd suggest using a third party piece of software called Dave
or ADmitMac from Thursby <http://www.thursby.com>. It will allow you to
connect without having to lower the security of your server.

Hope this helps!
