I was using iWeb to create a web page. At one point I published it to a folder on my Desktop. I can go to that folder and click on the Index.html file and it opens just the way I want it to open in Safari. I went back to iWeb and deleted what I thought were the original files in the original locations, although I am not sure where those were stored. Now when I open iWeb it says it can not open the Index file that is in the desktop folder. When I click on the Index file and try to open it with iWeb, I am told it can not open the Index.html file. I am not able to open iWeb at all. This is on an iMac that is about 6 months old. Where did I go wrong? What do I need to do to get iWeb to open? Thanks
Well, since your question has nothing to do with anything Microsoft has to offer it's unlikely you'll get any insights here:-) You'd be better off in one of the Apple discussions group since it's Apple product you're using: http://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa Good Luck |:>) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac On 3/26/08 6:50 PM, in article ePadnSIu5PrATnfanZ2dnUVZ_jCdnZ2d@comcast.com, "Stephen Larivee" wrote: > I was using iWeb to create a web page. I don't understand. What is this group about? I see both Microsoft and Macintosh in the name of the group. I thought it DID deal with Apple products. Products for Macintosh from Microsoft. Asking about Microsoft Office 2004 or 2008, for example, would be on-topic here. Sticking with Usenet newsgroups, you're best off posting to: comp.sys.mac.apps (for all programs running on a Mac) comp.sys.mac.system (for questions about the Mac OS itself) There are several more groups in the comp.sys.mac.* hierarchy for other purposes, too, but these are probably the two you'd want to focus on. -- <http://designsbymike.net/shop/mac.cgi> Mac and geek T-shirts & gifts <http://designsbymike.net/election.shtml> Election 2008 goods. <http://designsbymike.net/shop/prius.cgi> Prius shirts/bumper stickers <http://designsbymike.net/shop/greet.cgi> Holiday cards with attitude
