Reading a document created by Microsoft Document Image Writer
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

How can I read a document created on a PC by Microsoft Office Live Meeting Document Writer, with extension .mdi on my Mac?

Kind regards
Peter.

Re: Reading a document created by Microsoft Document Image Writer
AFAIK, you can't. MDI is a proprietary format of the Windows OS not created
by anything available on the Mac so nothing reads them either.

You may be able to use a compatible app (although there aren't too many
there either) on a PC to Save As in a more universal format. Even then, all
I've seen is the option to output as a TIFF image which isn't editable text.
