headers
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Cooper wrote 4/30 about how to get a new header in a new section and was told by Bintener to use Formatting palette. I have the same question. I followed the instructions to get a new header by creating a different section, only to have whatever header I last put in, apply to the entire document. I too want the "same as previous" gone from each new section. My Formatting palette does not have a tab for Headers and Footers, so whatelse can I do?

Re: headers
Hi Shirley -

The Header & Footer features don't appear in the Formatting Palette unless
you're actively in the H/F - Go to View> Header & Footer, the Palette will
update. There's a checkbox there for Different First Page. Also, if you have
more than 1 section there will be an active checkbox for Link to Previous
when you are in any section H/F beyond section 1.
