Disable presenter tools
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

Hello, I want to run a powerpoint on an external display, without the presenter tools showing up on my main display. I still want to be able to use the main display while the powerpoint is running. Thanks

Re: Disable presenter tools
We did this recently at a conference. We had a slide show running on a large
display screen off a MacBook Pro, but were still able to use the laptop for
other things.

Go to System Preferences under Display. Unclick the box the box that says
"Mirror display." You should be able to drag the presentation to the
external display. This is what I recall, but as I only have one display
currently, I can't actually see the options or check this.
