power point proble with movie clip
I have a video clip and I want to use it for my power point presentation. I
have downloaded the clip from the web (funny-videos.co.uk) The movie clip is
the Cadburys advert the gorilla playing the drums. (This is the only movie I
can find that I can download and save it in my documents)

The movie clip plays fine in windows media player. But when I insert the
movie clip into power point, it does not play ?

So I thought ok it might be something wrong with the file format or codec so
I tried to bring the file into premiere Pro, premiere 6.5 and even windows
movie maker to render out another version of the clip, but no luck all 3
programes crash trying to import the clip.

I knew that the movie clips plays ok in windows media player. So in Power
point I found that you can insert the file by going insert – object and
select window media player.

Then right click and go to properties and click the custom (under the
alphabetic tab) button to select the movie clip and other options. The movie
clip in size is small and all I want to do is stretch the movie to fit in
window that I have created. Which I change in the options (under the
alphabetic tab).

The first time I preview it, it works but if I jump to another slide with
text on etc and want to click back to the movie slide the size of the movie
reverts back to its small size and not the stretch size I wanted it to!? Also
it reverts back to its small size if I press ESC and go back into show mode?

Can anyone help ? or is this a problem with the video clip I have (Though I
am having trouble downloading this clip from any where even lime wire!?!?) or
Is it a power point glitch?

Thank you matt
