I can't tell you precisely how much that irritates me. Somewhere between
HEAPS and *!!$%####*^%.
Surely someone by now would have written software to convert a Microsoft
format for use in another Microsoft application.
Absolutely unbelievable that Microsoft hasn't done it.

That's Microsoft for you. They love to make things proprietary.
