Issue syncing public calendar with Exchange in Entourage   

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

We just introduced a Mac into our small office network and Exchange. We use public calendars and all of the information was synced up correctly in Entourage upon connecting to the exchange server. However, I noticed that during the day, when I make updates to a public calendar it does not show up on anyone else's Outlook public calendar, and vice-versa, unless I do a manual sync (or switch from the calendar to mail and back to calendar).

This is much different from Outlook, where the information would sync immediately upon change (whether saved or sent to an invitee). This is causing issues as we update the calendar throughout the day, and often the information is now inaccurate. Is this the way it's supposed to be? (And yes, I have emptied the cache for the calendar) If so, is there a way to set up a rule to automatically schedule syncing every few minutes, the way you can with mail send/receive?

Add the calendar to the Favorites folder in the Public Folders to keep 
it synchronized. Otherwise, it resynchronizes every time you click back 
into it.
