Entourage 2008 and Exchange 2007 problem logging in
I have no idea what this list is for but I found it and since I am
desperate i am willing to try everything.

I have Entrourage 2008 installed on my MACBook and we use a ASP solution
provide by Mamut Active24 in Norway. On their side they have a Exchange 2007
server.

Regardless of what i do i get the error message: Mail could not be received
at this time. The server for account "Calibra Exchange Account" returned the
error: Logon failure: unknown username or bad password" Your username or
security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your
passowrd?

I AM using the correct User ID, PWD and Domain settings. OWA works like a
charm. I have used the support at Active24 to the breaking point and I would
appreciate any advise on the issue.

I read a discussion thread on Mactopia on this issue for Exchange 2003
stating that the problem was caused by non.roman characters in the subject
line of incoming e-mails and MS provide a hotfix for this issue on Exchaneg
2003. Could it be that this problem prevails in 2007 as well?

Anyways, a response is cheered with standing ovations from Norway :-)

Are they using some sort of a script on the OWA page?? When you try to
connect to your OWA page (like http://www.whatever.com/exchange) do you
get a prompt for a longin and password, or a page asking you to select
whether this is a local or private computer, etc...

They could be using some sort of script preventing Entoruage to properly
connect.
