What version of Entourage? What type of account? To test for something like this you need to eliminate possible causes. 1. eliminate your User's folder by testing in a new User. Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test sending there in a new Identity. This will get your Identity too. 2) If both of those helped, then in your regular Identity, create a new Identity in Entourage and test. This will show if it's your User's folder that might have problems. 3) The hardest is testing your connection to your ISP. You might need to contact them to see if they can help monitor your connection. Have you checked your account via your browser to see if there is some message there that Entourage might be choking on trying to download? It would probably be one of the oldest messages. Did you check out Outbox? In Entourage 2008, it will send other messages if you have one that is corrupt where previously it would stop all outgoing messages from being sent. -- Diane
