Mail messages appearing in the Deleted Folder
For all messages from this Forum I have a rule set up to move the
messages into a folder called Microsoft, which all works fine. But on
occassions I have noticed that some messages also end up with a copy
in the Deleted Folder.

I have no idea why this is happening, any ideas would be helpful

Thanks

John

What kind of account is this? If IMAP, and you are using a rule to move to a
local folder, then this is a known issue. Entourage doesn't "move" IMAP
messages, it copies and deletes them.

Thanks for this, yes it is an IMAP account, the behavior is
inconsistent as it only "deletes" some of the messages
