Entourage Email help
Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

I'm sure this is a simple question, but how can I keep my emails in the inbox of each account instead of in the "Folders on My Computer" in Entourage? I have several accounts and would like to be able to access them away from my home computer. Is there a way to stop the program from automatically moving my emails or to copy them so as they are in both places?

E-mails from POP accounts are downloaded on your computer and therefore
all end-up in the inbox of the On My Computer section.
e-mails from IMAP accounts are actually a mirror of what's on the server
and remain in their respective inboxes.

Ifor what you need, you could create several inboxes on the In My
Comptuer section and create rules to automatically redirect e-mails from
specific accounts to the inbox of your choice.

Check all your rules and Mailing list managers to make sure one of them
is not redirecting all e-mails to On My Computer.

You might be interested in using Entourage's "Online Access" feature for
POP accounts.

Select Tools --> Accounts and double-click your account to open its
settings. Then under the Options tab select "Allow online access (shows
account in folder list).

Hope this helps!
