Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel I'd like to replace the internal hard drive on my macbook pro 2.2 ghz. If I clone my old drive to the replacement drive (including my Office 2004), will my Office 2004 work on the replacement drive or would I need to uninstall Office from the old drive, and then install from the original Office 2004 CD on the replacement drive? Thanks.

If you create a real clone it will. CCC or SuperDuper! Are two that will do what you want. I believe SuperDuper's free option does clones. -- Diane

I can't remember for sure but I didn't think so. I'll definitely defer to your knowledge on SuperDuper! - you're far more familiar with it than I, but I thought that was one of the main reasons I coughed up the asking price:-) Regards |:>) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac

Hard to remember since I purchased so many years ago. -- Diane
