Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Hi, after having reset my account (using the History reset button while logging in) I lost my emoticons. I now only have the default emoticons. Are they lost or are they still on my computer? How can I restore them in my emoticon folder? Thnx for your help ! Ruud
Hi! Clearing your account history can also clear certain local account settings. The emoticon should still be in your full emoticon list. To access this, try the following: 1. Enter a chat window and click on the emoticon button (the one you would normally use to access your emoticons). 2. In the bottom right, you will see an ellipses (...) - click this. 3. You should now be viewing the full list of available emoticons on your computer. Scroll down until you find your custom emoticons. 4. Activate the check box to the left of each emoticon. 5. Press "OK". Your emoticons will now be available in the standard emoticon menu that's accessible from the chat window. Keep in mind that you can not have more than 59 emoticons in use at one time. Please let me know if this helps. -- Zack Moxley a-zamox@online.microsoft.com (remove "online." for any direct replies) Microsoft Corporation Macintosh Business Unit This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. wrote in message news:59b59501.-1@webcrossing.caR9absDaxw... > Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) > > Hi, after having reset my account (using the History reset button while > logging in) I lost my emoticons.
