Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I'm a new MAC user, while my brother is still using Win XP. I loaded version 7.01 for MAC. I never see my brother online and he doesn't see me either. Is this MAC version capable of seeing PC messenger users? I don't know what version he is using, I'll ask if important to this problem.

I am now using aMSN which is an open source clone. Go to <http://www.cmq.qc.ca/4w/amsn/> and download it. Its got a webcam option thar works with my Logitech webcam on my mac mini. I got fed up waiting for Microsoft. The only thing I've noticed is that both MSN & aMSN dont really function well as Windows Live Messenger, so if you or your brother are on a yahoo address you'd be best using Yahoo Messenger which also supports webccam in my experience. What I mean by not seeing each other is we don't show up as online.

Go to http://register.passport.com and create a new account. 2. Log in to Mac Messenger with this account. 3. Send your brother an add request. If you and your brother are able to see one another with the new account, we will know that this is an account issue, rather than a problem with Messenger. It could be that your old accounts accidentally ended up blocked. To check your block list, go to Messenger menu > Preferences > Privacy tab and ensure that your brother's account does not appear on your block list. --- Zack Moxley a-zamox@online.microsoft.com (remove ³online.² for any direct replies) Microsoft Corporation Macintosh Business Unit This posting is provided ³AS IS² with no warranties, and confers no rights.
Thanks Zack, That worked.
