AC2 is pretty dead these days. Will AC2Legions be the end of it? And is they any place you can purchase and download AC2Legions, or is it snail mail only?
No download that I know about. "Ook" wrote in message news:eF%237N2mTFHA.2556@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > AC2 is pretty dead these days. Will AC2Legions be the end of it? > > And is they any place you can purchase and download AC2Legions, or is it > snail mail only? > >

After playing AC2 I have to ask Why would ANYONE purchase an expansion for that game? The only way to rescue AC2 would be to let folks in for free, and allow them to subscribe after 2 weeks or so. At least then perhaps enough folks would join in-game to increase the server population enough to play. I suspect the mechanics that made it broken are not fixed, however.
I've seen retail boxed copies of AC2: Legions on store shelves here in town. Availability doesn't seem to be an issue, although I was pleasantly surprised that Turbine managed to get shelf space at CompUSA for the release. Sony is doing the publishing so getting shelf space isn't an issue. Then again, it really wasn't a problem getting the space when MS had it. That was just a lack of effort. JJC

They are there, but not like you would expect. AC2:Legions isn't going to go anywhere until they learn how to market a product!
