age of kings conqerors expansion   

everytime i go into a age of conquerors game online people always tell me i 
conflict with another player. The person i "conflict" with always has 30 ping 
and there name doesnt show up. I hear it has something to do with firewall. 
If so, how do i fix it so that i can connect wiht al players
