My friend's list doesn't come up when I play bridge
My mom plays bridge and her friend's list use to come up automatically
when she played bridge. Now it doesn't come up. I read the instructions
about this problem and it says to click on the Z on the task bar next
to the time, but she doesn't have a Z to click on next to the clock.

Any ideas how to get her friend's list back?

Thanks,
Ann

Open Internet Properties, General tab, Settings button, View Objects
button. If ZoneBuddy Class is listed as Damaged, right-click, click
Update to repair the ActiveX component. If that doesn't work,
right-click the damaged component, click Remove. Reenter the Zone for a
fresh install.

I was under the impression ZoneBuddyClass was associated with the new MSN
games ZPA software, of which zonefriends plays no part. I may be wrong but
I'd be more inclined to remove and recieve a fresh HeartbeatCtl Class file.
Heres a video clip that outlines the procedure:

I'm sure you're right; I hadn't read that, but the name suggested there
might have been some changes to Zfriends.

My mom doesn't have the Z showing on her task bar when she wants to
play. How do you bring up the Z in order to do what you said regarding
her friend's list?

The Heartbeat movie, suggested by +_ReverendJJ mentions "the ZoneFriends
icon" in the tray area "must be closed IF IT'S Showing". Just have her
ignore that step:

Re: My friend's list doesn't come up when I play bridge
Easiest way since the "Z" does not show up in the task bar is to
remove/uninstall MSN Gaming Zone and then Reinstall it.

To Uninstall MSN Gaming Zone click on Start
then click on Control Panel
then click on Add or Remove Programs
Then scroll down to MSN Gaming Zone and click on it
then click Change/Remove

To Install MSN Gaming Zone
go to: zone.msn.com
Sign in with your Mom's User name and Password
go into any Bridge game room and this will install the "Z" back to your
Mom's PC
