Open Internet Properties, General tab, Settings button, View Objects
button. If ZoneBuddy Class is listed as Damaged, right-click, click
Update to repair the ActiveX component. If that doesn't work,
right-click the damaged component, click Remove. Reenter the Zone for a
fresh install.

I was under the impression ZoneBuddyClass was associated with the new MSN
games ZPA software, of which zonefriends plays no part. I may be wrong but
I'd be more inclined to remove and recieve a fresh HeartbeatCtl Class file.

I'm sure you're right; I hadn't read that, but the name suggested there
might have been some changes to Zfriends.
