Survey about the influences of virtual life on real life and vice versa - please help us with our project
Dear Gamer,

We want to invite you to take part in our survey on
http://www.gamingrealities.net in which we explore the connections
between real and virtual life for a lab course at our university.

Our survey has three sections (career, friend- / relationships, groups),
which can be answered individually and should take 5 to 10 minutes each
- although we hope that you might find time to answer all sections.
Furthermore we would ask you to spread the word and let your friends
know of our survey - be it your clan or guild or any other community you
are in, whether if it is about gaming or something else. Simply copy
this text and add some personal words (also available as BB forum
version at our site).

Let us offer you a bit information about the survey itself.
We set it up because today real and virtual life become more and more
connected and strongly influence each other. We chose games as research
area because they are among the most well built virtual realities we
know today, and gaming communities have many interesting similarities to
real life communities.
While the areas of our survey may not be genuinely new, we approach them
from rarely taken directions. Furthermore we are especially focusing on
drawing connections between these areas to gain new insights.

We hope to see you on our site.
Your Gamingrealities-Team

could you please not spam? This is not this kind of you guys' game!
This is not a virtual game so there's no virtual life here.

The topics in this group sound a lot like they are about video games.
If you're only playing board games here, I apologize. But in that case
there could still be some video gamers here or people who know video gamers.

No, about 99% of the legitimate posts here over the years have been
about computer games not video games. However, clans and guilds are
more likely to be associated with online computer games specifically
multi-player role playing games. I'm afraid you won't get much help
here or in any of the other gaming newsgroups. People who post here
usually don't like surveys or don't want to spend the time taking them.
