What is folder set to be under VSS?
Hi;

We have (not sure how this happened) a folder and all it's sub-folders set
to be "This folder is under source control" in the explorer properties for a
directory. The explorer properties now has a "Source Control" tab.

And it appears that in this case we cannot create files in the directory -
the entire directory is locked.

Any idea what is going on here? And if we need to be able to create files
via Adobe Contribute do we need to undo this and go back to the standard
method of just adding files and directories to VSS?

And if we do have to add the files and directories directly - is there a way
to do so recursively or do we still have to add each folder one by one?

I'm sorry I cannot understand this compeletly. Would you pease send me a
screen-shot if this is possible for you. As you see, this will help on
research greatly.

You can achieve this by drop your directories onto the Visual SourceSafe
Explorer, and then check "Recursive" checkbox in the prompt Dialog.

Hope this helps.
