RE: What good is the VSS 2005 "Web Projects" feature?
Hi James,
Visual SourceSafe has several features that are designed to support Web
sites. If you need a Web project, your database administrator can set up a
Visual SourceSafe project for your site. The Web project differs from other
database projects only in the icon that is displayed in Visual SourceSafe
Explorer. After the Web project is set up, you can add your HTML, graphics,
and supporting files, just as you would for a regular Visual SourceSafe
project.
Please check the following links for more information about why enableing
web projects and how to enable it.
