On project load Sorta Safe attempts to check out file for edit   

This is annoying -- I've got source safe integrated with VS 2005 and
it's set to NOT get new files on load. Whenever I try to load my MDI
project it requires me to check out for edit this one form (not the
main parent form).

Anyone have any idea why this would happen? It is beyond annoying.
